How it works

From a private check-in to practical change

RKINDLE follows one loop — assess, understand, plan, practise, measure — and repeats it. Here is what that looks like in practice.
A couple looking at their phone together over morning coffee, relaxed and hopeful.

The loop

  1. Step 1

    Assess

Each partner completes their own structured check-in, privately and in their own words.
  2. Step 2

    Understand

See where your experiences line up, where they differ, and what may sit beneath recurring friction.
  3. Step 3

    Plan

Turn that understanding into a focused six-week plan shaped around what matters most to you both.
  4. Step 4

    Practise

Work through small, specific activities and habits that fit into ordinary weeks.
  5. Step 5

    Measure

Check in again at the end and look at what changed, what helped, and what to focus on next.

01

Assess privately

You each create your own account and answer a structured check-in in your own words — about 8 minutes, on your phone, whenever suits you.
  • Separate accounts — there is no shared login, ever.
  • A private safety check shapes what RKINDLE offers you, and your partner is never told what you answered.
  • Your individual answers stay private to you. Shared parts are built only from limited summaries you’ve agreed to.

02

See your Relationship Map

Once you’ve both finished, RKINDLE shows Me, You and Us side by side — where your experiences line up, where they differ, and the pattern that may be repeating.
  • Seven areas of relationship life, mapped for each of you.
  • Differences are shown as something to understand, not a score to win.
  • Every explanation is offered as a possibility to check together — never a verdict.

About 8 minutes. 100% private. Start on your own.

03

Practise, week by week

Your map becomes a six-week plan of small, specific activities and a weekly conversation — shaped around what your check-in surfaced, not a generic program.
  • One week opens at a time, so you build skills in the right order.
  • In-the-moment tools — Talk it through, Reconnect Now, the Repair Library — for when real life happens between weeks.
  • At week six you check in again and see what actually changed.

The six-week structure

The weekly themes are fixed. What changes is the focus, the examples and the activities, drawn from your own check-in.
  1. Week 1

    Understand Us

Make sense of your strengths, your differences and the patterns you both notice.

  2. Week 2

    Stabilise

Learn to notice rising tension early and pause and return rather than escalate.

  3. Week 3

    Reconnect

Rebuild warmth, companionship, appreciation and everyday responsiveness.

  4. Week 4

    Communicate

Practise listening, checking assumptions and expressing needs clearly.

  5. Week 5

    Resolve

Take one recurring issue and try a specific, measurable change together.

  6. Week 6

    Embed

Check in again, keep what helped and choose where to focus next.
